Symptomatic Students:
The following is a list of COVID-19 Symptoms:
fever/chills, cough, shortness of breath, new loss of taste/smell, sore throat, fatigue, muscle/body aches, runny nose/congestion, stomachache, diahreaa, nausea/vomiting, headache.
Students who are experiencing symptoms should stay at home. The student may return to school with one of the following:
Proof of a negative COVID test: Student must stay home until no fever for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication AND symptoms are improving. If a rapid test is negative and your healthcare provider also did a PCR test, the student will need to wait for the PCR results to return to school.
Healthcare Provider's Note: Note from a healthcare provider with an alternate diagnosis that explains the symptoms AND clears the student to return to school. Student must also stay at home until no fever for 24 hours w/o fever-reducing medication AND symptoms are improving.
Isolation (Positive COVID-19 test or No test preformed): Stay home for at least 5 days from the onset of symptoms, no fever for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication AND symptoms are improving. The CDC recommends that students wear a mask when they return to school on days 6-10.
Vaccinated Students:
Students who are vaccinated should bring proof of vaccination to the Health Office, so that the student's immunization records stay up-to-date.
