Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) announces it has once again been ranked fourth among 130 Virginia school divisions in Niche’s annual Best Schools rankings, up one spot from last year. LCPS is now also recognized as the No. 1 School District for Athletes in Virginia.
LCPS received an overall grade of A from Niche, scoring particularly high in sports (A+), college prep (A+), academics (A), clubs and activities (A) and diversity (A-). This ranking reflect’s LCPS’ exceptional performance across numerous factors analyzed by Niche, the country’s leading college and school search platform.
Niche also rates every school in the county, with five high schools earning exemplary A+ grades: Independence High School, Rock Ridge High School, Riverside High School, John Champe High School and Freedom High School. Meanwhile, 23 elementary schools and eight middle schools received an overall grade of A.
