Students and staff of Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) celebrated the first-ever One LCPS Celebration Day on Thursday, October 17. Dr. Spence created the event to celebrate schools, their staff and students for everything they do for LCPS. Students and staff were asked to show their LCPS spirit by wearing their school’s spirit wear or school colors.
In his message to students and staff, LCPS Superintendent Dr. Aaron Spence said, “We want to celebrate YOU and everything YOU do for LCPS!”
There is certainly a lot to celebrate at LCPS. From SOL scores to schools to watch, LCPS is a leader in not only Northern Virginia but across the US as well. Learn more by checking out the LCPS Fact Sheet.
Dr. Spence, along with division leadership and senior staff, visited the schools to take selfies and say congratulations. Schools were provided with fun photo gear, such as selfie boards, foam fingers, and stickers. Students and staff also competed in a photo contest for various awards. Winners will be announced the first full week of November.
