Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) is launching a podcast on November 21, 2024, to share the division’s news and stories. Feedback from the school community has shown a desire for more positive and uplifting stories about the school division, including its students and staff. LCPS has prioritized public engagement in the past several years as part of its strategic plan and Superintendent Dr. Aaron Spence’s Post-Entry Plan.

“We have consistently heard from our families that they would like to hear more about the successes of the school division and the amazing achievements of its students,” said LCPS Public Information Officer Dan Adams. “The LCPS Podcast provides another opportunity for the community to hear directly from students, staff and others about the incredible things happening here every day.”

The pilot episode of the LCPS Podcast will feature staff discussing the need for a podcast, division efforts to combat disinformation and misinformation, and increased efforts by LCPS to connect with the community. Additional episodes will then be posted regularly on Thursdays, covering a wide range of topics.

The LCPS Podcast will launch on November 21 on all major podcast platforms. For more information, please visit the LCPS Podcast page.
